central Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...

* until 400 PM EDT

* at 156 PM EDT... the public reported heavy rain in Westchester near
Florida International University due to thunderstorms. This will
cause Urban and Small Stream flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Homestead... Homestead Miami Speedway... Kendall... the Redland and
doral.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and
underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
