Statement as of 1:43 PM EDT on September 27, 2016

... The Flood Advisory remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for
southeastern Broward County...

At 138 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated that 2 to 3 inches of
rainfall has fallen during the last hour over southeastern Broward
County from the thunderstorms. The thunderstorms have dissipated,
however light to moderate rains are continuing over the area which
can still produce up to half an inch of rainfall. Therefore... the
Urban Flood Advisory will continue until 4 PM EDT for southeastern
Broward County.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Lauderdale... Pembroke Pines... Hollywood... Miramar and Davie.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated... or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
