... Wind Advisory now in effect until 10 am PST Sunday...

The Wind Advisory is now in effect until 10 am PST Sunday.

Winds around the Everett area... and to the south of the Seattle
area will rapidly increase around 5 am. Very windy conditions will
last for 3 to 5 hours... then winds will diminish later Sunday
morning. Northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph can
be expected in the Everett area... and strong southwest winds of
25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph can be expected early Sunday
morning south of Seattle.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph or
gusts of 45 to 57 mph are likely. Winds this strong can snap
small tree branches... topple small or shallow-rooted trees... and
cause local power outages.
