Total snow fall over the central Washington Cascade east slopes is expected to reach 5 to 10 inches with heaviest accumulations expected from Cle Elum westward along Interstate 90 and from Rimrock Lake westward along Highway 12.
Accumulations of 5 to 7 inches are expected along the southern Washington Cascade east slopes mainly above 2000 feet and west of the Klickitat river.
Most of this snow will accumulate this morning through early this afternoon. Additionally... sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph at pass levels will result in areas of blowing snow with local visibility reductions down to one-quarter mile of less at times.
