Areas of fog are beginning to develop across southeast Texas and portions of southern Louisiana this evening. This will lower visibility at times to less than a mile at times. Conditions will hold through sunrise before dissipating.

Mostly clear. Patchy fog early in the evening... then areas of dense fog in the late evening and overnight. Lows in the mid 40s. Calm wind.
Monday
Sunny. Areas of dense fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night
Mostly clear in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of showers. Warmer. Lows in the upper 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST Monday.
Patchy fog will gradually increase in areal coverage and lower visibilities to below one quarter mile at times late Sunday evening through mid Monday morning. Visibilities will rapidly improve by mid morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
