The rain will be the most widespread and the steadiest across locations south and east of Asheboro...Chapel HIll and Wilson. The rain could become a little heavier later this evening...especially south and east of Raleigh. Rainfall amounts between 700 PM and 1000 PM will range from a few hundredths of an inch north of Interstate 40 to a tenth of an inch south of Interstate 40.
