Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 9:06 PM EST on November 21, 2009

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 10 am EST Sunday.

High pressure overhead... lingering low level moisture... clear
skies and calm winds has head to the development of low stratus
and widespread dense fog late this evening. Widespread dense fog
will likely hang over eastern upper and northern lower Michigan
through the overnight hours and into Sunday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow
down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you. Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
