Widespread dense fog will persist from the Saginaw Valley into The Thumb early this morning. Further south... areas of dense fog will become more widespread from Flint and Detroit south to the Ohio border. Visibilities will be reduced to one quarter of a mile or less at times... making travel hazardous. The fog will gradually lift during the late morning hours.
