Strong southerly winds are expected this evening ahead of a strong Pacific cold front... followed by strong southwest to west winds later tonight after the front passes through the area. Sustained speeds of 25 to 35 mph are expected with gusts 45 to 50 mph. A few gusts to 55 mph are possible late tonight especially along the I-5 corridor in Cowlitz County. Winds will ease Sunday morning.
