The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to midnight MST tonight.
Road conditions may quickly change late this afternoon and evening as 2 to 3 inches of snow is expected from intense snow showers. The snowfall will be intense for a short period and may only accumulate over a 3 hour period. However... snowfall rates may reach an inch an hour... causing roads to go from dry to wet to snow covered in a short period of time. Drivers should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions... especially over Bozeman Pass along Interstate 90.
