Widely scattered showers along with a few isolated thunderstorms continue to develop over the coastal counties of southwest Alabama and northwest Florida...and interior parts of southeast Mississippi. Better development of thunderstorms will be likely over coastal areas of southwest Alabama and southeast Mississippi during the next 1 to 2 hours. Movement was to the north at 5 to 10 mph. The main treat with some of the heavier showers or thunderstorms will be wind gusts to 35 mph...frequent cloud to ground lightning and periods of very heavy rain.
