Synopsis For The Coastal Waters From Bonita Beach To Suwannee River-
Synopsis
Strong surface high pressure will remain north of the marine waters along the mid Atlantic coast extending southwest to the northern Gulf through the weekend. This high combined with lower pressure associated with Tropical Storm Ida over the western Caribbean will keep winds and seas elevated through the weekend with hazardous boating conditions continuing. During Monday through Wednesday Tropical Storm Ida is forecast to intensify and move north into the south central Gulf. For the latest on Ida please refer to advisories being issued by the National Hurricane Center.
