Synopsis
A prevailing southerly wind flow will persist on the South Florida coastal waters through at least the middle of next week...as the region will remain located on the western periphery of surface high pressure centered to the east of the Bahamas. The ridge of high pressure is expected to lift northward by the end of next week...with an easterly flow regime becoming established. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will occur each period...with rain chances diminishing slightly early next week as an upper level ridge of high pressure builds across South Florida.
